If you enjoy western art and western history, you will enjoy the Buffalo Bill Center of the West museum in Cody, Wyoming.
The place is huge and is five museums in one. Be prepared to spend hours in the place.
The firearms museum holds some 7,000 guns. Firearms history is on display. When I was a young man, my grandfather Estensen handed me his 1895 Winchester lever action. It had been in the family a long time, and still is. Osten, Shandiin, and I found one of the 1895's on display. The Texas Rangers adopted the gun as their official rifle in 1897.
The Natural History museum got my attention. There were lots of photo opportunities:
